The merit badge program of the Boy Scouts of America exists to help youth experience a broad range of interests that will hopefully bloom into future hobbies or careers. For more information, click on the links below.

Merit Badge Offerings

The council offers a variety of activities that include the opportunity for youth to earn merit badges. They include:

Standard Operating Procedures

The Council Advancement Committee has written a series of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to clearly define the procedures that everyone should follow to ensure the best possible experience for our youth in obtaining advancements.

Merit Badge Counselor Training

Merit badge counselors, once registered and placed on Scoutbook, can begin counseling youth with the merit badge(s) they listed on National's form 34405.
